Water Technology Cluster in Ontario ?

Recent press introduce the idea of developing a water technology cluster in Ontario, Canada. We have previously described howOntario Lake the city of Milwaukee (Wisconsin) was awarded a federal grant to explore the opportunity to develop a water technology cluster as well as how Michigan Economic Development Corporation has launched an effort to develop a water technology cluster.

Ontario has several building blocks in place already for capitalizing on this opportunity. There is obviously plenty of water with all the lakes and rivers in the province, at the same there are universities, R&D organizations, the talent pool and an increasing number of companies in the water technology sector.

The question is: Who will take the bull by the horn and explore the viability of a water technology cluster ?
